Two other veterans groups, both member groups of the NV&GWVC, specialize in POW/MIA info. These are Rolling Thunder and Task Force Omega of Kentucky

The last time our country effectively brought home our POW/MIA's was the "great raid" of the
Cabanatuan Prison Camp during January of 1945, WWII, under the leadership of President Harry S. Truman. During President Truman's administration our government did not tolerate our prisoners of war being left behind. Somewhere between President Truman and President George W. Bush, the legacy has been silenced. Why have they neglected to bring our men home? There is so little time. Please write your representatives, actually bombard them with letters and phone calls for them to enforce the return of all of our men and a full accounting. One entire community out of a whole nation can make a difference. One community in each state of the nation will make an even bigger difference
.

BRING THEM HOME NOW!!

We shall always remember their sarifices...

A lighted candle burns eternal for all of those POW/MIA / KIA whose remains have been returned, and for those yet to come home.

Where are these American soldiers?
The second-largest capture of American soldiers serving in the Iraq War occurred when Iraqi insurgents attacked a military outpost in Amiriyah, Baghdad, killing four US soldiers and an Iraqi aide before capturing Spc. Alex Jimenez, Pfc. Joseph Anzack and Pvt. Byron Fouty on May 12, 2007. The search for the soldiers currently occupies 4,000 troops

A Family Says Good-bye...For now...

On Sept. 7, 2007, a memorial was conducted for POW SSG
James M. Ray who never returned from Vietnam and who is thought to have been killed captivity. The family did not bury any remains but instead erected a tombstone "IN MEMORY OF" a brave soldier who is yet lost in "the fog of war."
Ray was captured by the Viet Cong on 18 March 1968, and his parents, Charlie and Jean Ray, still hold out hope that one day he will come home.
