• Remembering 9/11

    NV&GWVC;

    NV&GWVC; Chairman John J. Molloy and many other of our nation's veterans employed at the World Trade Center were there on 9/11. Some did not survive but, fortunately, Chairman Molloy is here to speak for those who cannot. Never forget what happened on that day in 2001, and in 2012 (Benghazi) for many innocent American lives were taken down by radical islamic terrorists. Justice must be served!

Employment Opportunities For Vets

NV&GWVC logo

Here is a list of employment websites where veterans can go to search for opportunities in the everyday work force. Each is an asset to veterans and their families as they provide knowledgeable insight on how a veteran might work through overcoming the transition from military to citizen and head out securely and ably into an otherwise competitive work force. Veterans deserve jobs and more employers need to hire veterans. They served America. Now it's time for America to say "thank you" and welcome our nation's veterans back to the fold.

To aid in the transition of veterans from military to civilian life by giving them insured means of providing for their families and themselves, and to offer benefits and security for the future of both.

A very special, patriotic group of students from the The Brenham Community Center in Texas have offered their help--and thank you--to our nation's veterans by researching for a project which includes ways to help our younger veterans to assimilate and to find employment positions which can help to expedite that assimilation process. We are very grateful to Ms. Denise Chapman and her students, and on behalf of the veterans community within the NV&GWVC;, we say "thank you!" for a job well done and for the high regard you hold for our nation's veterans.
